By K.A. Tucker

Wow! K.A. Tucker was easily become my favourite author that I have discovered in 2020. This was novel number 7 that I have read this year by her and I just want to keep on reading more. This novel was an amazing, deep-heartfelt story, breath-taking beautiful, sobbing into your bed sheets late into the night, unable to think of anything else until you get home to finish the novel and last but not least, feeling empty after your done reading it cause it was an amazing adventure.
Just breathe, Kacey. Ten tiny breaths. Seize them. Feel them. Love them.
– K.A. Tucker Ten Tiny Breaths
“Four years ago Kacey Cleary’s life imploded when her car was hit by a drunk driver, killing her parents, boyfriend, and best friend. Still haunted by memories of being trapped inside, holding her boyfriend’s lifeless hand and listening to her mother take her last breath, Kacey wants to leave her past behind. Armed with two bus tickets, twenty-year-old Kacey and her fifteen-year-old sister, Livie, escape Grand Rapids, Michigan, to start over in Miami. Struggling to make ends meet, Kacey needs to figure out how to get by. But Kacey’s not worried. She can handle anything—anything but her mysterious neighbor in apartment 1D.
Trent Emerson has smoldering blue eyes, deep dimples, and he perfectly skates that irresistible line between nice guy and bad boy. Hardened by her tragic past, Kacey is determined to keep everyone at a distance, but their mutual attraction is undeniable and Trent is determined to find a way into Kacey’s guarded heart—even if it means that an explosive secret could shatter both their worlds.”
- From the back of the novel – K.A. Tucker Ten Tiny Breaths
Holy Moly was this an adventure of a read, K.A. Tucker breaks you down until your sobbing uncontrollably grasping for air only to mend your heart with the most loving and supportive family. This novel has become a part of me, I would hold this novel close to Hopeless by Colleen Hoover (which I read months ago, but I still think of that story almost daily). K.A. Tucker has this amazing ability of writing tragic/dramatic stories, where the characters have so much work to work though to become complete. Being able to read this story will give you empathy and fill you with so much love. This novel also shines a big glittery spotlight on creating your own family, how important it is to ask for help and it takes time for everyone to work though grief.

This novel was 5 out of 5 stars for me! Home run! Sign me up for reading every novel that K.A. Tucker has every written, never a disappointment always learning, feeling, hoping, and wishing for better lives. Reading has this wonderful ability of making you feel like you went on that adventure with that character. It becomes apart of you and you learn from it and you grow. Thank you K.A. Tucker for writing the truly amazing novels that form me into the person that I am today. I hope that you never stop writing and you will always have some one that looks forward to your novels.
P.S. The family work envorniment from this novel makes me miss my days of working at a bar so badly!
Keep on Reading,
